CYBER-SURREAL DISORDER: Abject Beauty & Bodily Errors

As a gestalt, my artistic output take on hybrid forms – there is no single format. Images are derived from self-constructed sculptural objects combined with Rorschach image making. Photograms that signal new archetypal symmetry are combined with meticulous sketches and re-scanned to manipulate into a profusion of fictional corporeal errors. The majority of my visual possesses a surreal and metaphysical mood that transcends the transient nature of virtual deities or fashion entities. It is my conviction that creativity, once it takes form, should address something confrontational and inseparable from the human psyche. Ancient beliefs, the para-natural, ‘The Other’, somatic or spiritual metamorphosis, bodily horror or abjection, dystopian dreams – all these things influence my imagery; and therefore asserts a global yearning for permanence and preservation. By sharing my inner/psychological gallery with people, new stories and new myths may be born. My art aims to inspire new connections with various cultural beliefs and their specific ancestral gods - the demigods that keep legendary beasts and chilling symbolic folk tales alive and immune to obsolescence.
